Led a project on creating an offshore bank in the Carribean. A turnkey project, this involved liaising with the Government for authorisations, structuring operations, recruitment, and designing all operational procedures.

Led a project on laying the groundwork for a pan-African commodity exchange. While the project didn’t go through to execution, we created the framework and did extensive research on the feasibility and mode of operations.

Consulted a listed entity in Asia on establishing a manufacturing unit in the United Arab Emirates. Included selection of location, obtaining all regulatory clearances, and operational setup. This was a turnkey project.

I am a regular presenter at trade delegations who visit the United Arab Emirates. I advise on the business landscape, the opportunities in various sectors, and on entry strategies. Have been associated, from the past eight years, with the ‘Doing Business’ project from the World Bank Group, which provides objective measures of business regulations for local firms in 190 economies and selected cities at the subnational level.
