A celebration comes from within – something that makes you happy, and others around you happy too. If you have to go through the motions just to get it over with…that isn’t a celebration of any kind.
Deepavali is an occasion when even those who don’t celebrate get drawn into the festive atmosphere. The lights, the puja, the sweets, the gifts – sometimes it feels that we do not just want it to end.
