On learning and knowledge…

Skilled people learn from every source, be it big or small, much like honey bees, who collect nectar from all types of flowers.

Food is of great importance, but the knowledge that we acquire is even more important. While the food lasts for a short period of time, until we are hungry again, the skill and knowledge that we acquire feeds us for life.

Knowledge makes one humble, humility leads to worthiness, worthiness creates wealth and enrichment, enrichment leads to right conduct, right conduct brings joy and contentment.

Acquired knowledge cannot be stolen by anyone, nor can it be taxed, it cannot be divided among siblings, and it isn’t heavy to carry. The more time we spend in teaching others, the more we learn and knowledge increases. Knowledge is the most precious among all one’s possessions.
