Of certificates and certificates…

I didn’t realize we had so many, until I started to write out their certificates of appreciation:)

The 10 Leaves annual celebrations happen this week, with a gala dinner scheduled on Wednesday. Well, not as gala as they come, but gala enough:) We then take off for a short staycation on Friday.

Part of the dinner is an awards ceremony, not like the Pan Masala ones, or the ones on LinkedIn. Actual heartfelt awards, including certificates of appreciation for every employee, written personally by me.

Last year, there were a lot fewer to write. I underestimated the numbers this time, but am happy about it:) As we continue to grow, I see exciting possibilities and loads of work to do, but well, the second half of this October has been set aside for a little enjoyment – culminating with the Diwali puja and then lunch. November is busy before an even busier December, and then of course, 2024 comes to an unceremonious end – driven by the sheer pace of how days have been passing by.

I dare say unceremonious because that’s what I end up doing – a quiet 31st and a spiritual 1st. No late night grooving at Burj Khalifa for me. One grows older and wiser, and I guess a bit more boring, but that’s ok. I enjoy the time I spend quietly with family, watching the minutes go by before I sleep around 10 and wake up to a new digital calendar new year.

Back to October. And back to my certificates.

Makes me think – who writes one for me?:))

See you tomorrow!
