I am currently on Ekadashi standard time…

As the days and months speed by, I find myself working through the weeks and the weekends as well. I don’t mind as long as the work is exciting and we are building new things, but a downside is that I hardly recall the dates or days – currently my measure of time is Ekadashi – the time between them actually – which is 15 days. And as we roll through September, one has to keep in mind the upcoming festive season as well – which means…more work!

Here are some snippets that I collected over yesterday and today. The last one is a nice little poem written by my teammate – talents hidden everywhere!

And the Joker said:

“When we understand that each day isn’t one more day, but one less, we’ll start giving more value to the things that truly matter.”

Every biggest decision of your life begins with uncertainty. Every extraordinary moment of courage comes after an internal struggle between wanting to turn back and knowing you must move forward. Every big leap comes right after a deep breath and the one question that only your heart can answer: “Can I really do this?”

And in those moments, you will never feel ready. You will never receive all the guarantees you’re looking for. There will never be absolute certainty. And you’ll never be able to see all the obstacles on your path before you begin.

You only ever have right now and a pull in your heart that can’t be ignored. There is only ever this unexplainable feeling within telling you, go this way. There is only your inner knowing guiding you forward, one small step at a time.

There is only your courage, faith, and enduring self-belief. But these onlys? They’re not onlys at all. They’re everything.

He has friends, only he can see,
they lay together underneath a giant tree
he peels his orange, picked not awhile ago
for someone only he will ever know

The pretty moose, he calls it. Visited again today
His mother smiles and looks the other way
He watches the birds and names them all the same
Not how naming works, but thats okay.

He holds the world, so very gently in his tiny hands
the peel, the wings, the things only he understands
His friend, the moose, as tall as a tree in the fog
a boy, an orange, and something beautiful and odd

He’s only four, but oh that magical mind
the rest of us are centuries behind.
