Have you had to deal with instances when you had a great discussion, sent the prospect a proposal, and then he never got back?
As in stopped responding to messages and emails, stopped picking calls…generally incommunicado.
I find it a big strange, doing business this way.
We have a service to sell, you enquire about details, pricing and consultations, and we spend a lot of time, and effort, on giving you these details and options.
The least one can do is revert – it’s ok if you don’t want the product, but at least it’s common courtesy, isn’t it?
It’s not the end of the world if one doesn’t become a client, but helps maintain a cordial relationship, instead of just falling off the face of the earth.
Is this just a Dubai thing, or does this happen elsewhere too?
Been here 15 years, and it is now almost amusing when I find people “too busy” to send a one line mail in response.
What do you think? Does this happen in other industries as well?
