Consulted a leading fund manager from India, on creating a feeder structure at the Abu Dhabi Global Market. This turnkey project involved assisting the fund manager to register with the Financial Services regulatory Authority as a Foreign Fund Manager, consulting on the legal structure of the proposed fund, and complete fund documentation.

Consulted a startup fund manager on establishing an umbrella fund in the Cayman Islands. This umbrella fund had sub-funds with focus on the mining sector in Africa, the Canadian TSX, Gold and Commodities. Also assisted in structuring the asset manager.

Consulted on establishing a fund for the development of large scale projects across the Commonwealth countries, with a focus on Africa. Part of the project also involved establishing MOUs with large partners across the African continent.

Designed fund structures for investments into various sectors in India. These sectors involved real estate, commodities, manufacturing and private equity. Two such structures were self-managed entities.

I am a regular presenter at trade delegations who visit the United Arab Emirates. I advise on the business landscape, the opportunities in various sectors, and on entry strategies. Have been associated, from the past eight years, with the ‘Doing Business’ project from the World Bank Group, which provides objective measures of business regulations for local firms in 190 economies and selected cities at the subnational level.
