The little things that matter…

A life event happened today. Strangely enough, I didn’t even register it, until someone drew it to my attention.

After 1,051 days, I am officially moving out of the Office Cabin.

For most of this time, I saw this space simply as a place that supported focused, efficient, and disciplined work. I never really thought that leaving a physical workspace would carry any emotional weight. But as I stepped out a few minutes ago, it quietly sank in. Over the past three years, this cabin has become a meaningful part of my 10 Leaves journey.

I would like to sincerely thank Rohit Sir for his leadership, trust, and for giving me the opportunity to work from this dedicated space. Special thanks to Ravi and Anand for helping with the shifting and cleaning. I’m also truly grateful to everyone who made the effort to come here over the years, especially during times when I may not have always been available at your location.

I’m leaving the space behind, but carrying forward the memories, lessons, and experiences that came with it.

I’ll continue my work from the new space with the same intent, focus, and discipline, while looking forward to what comes next.

Jibin, our senior accountant and our financial savant, posted this on our internal group today. Backstory – we have multiple spaces and desks, and this closed space was Jibin’s work home for those 1,000 days – he worked there mostly by himself. Little did I realise (nor did he by the way, from his post), that the space would invoke such a reaction when the time came to vacate it. I recall the little times spent there, and as a team, the Diwali Poojas that we conducted…

Sometimes, the little things matter a lot, and we mostly don’t realize them until they aren’t there anymore.

The little things go on to make sweet memories, don’t they? Let me ask the team to post their best pics of the space – to relive it for a while.

See you tomorrow!
