It was a very calm night – some thought it was a bit too calm.
I guess partly because of reduced traffic and generally reduced outdoor activity – but anyway.
The day began with a couple of booms, but that was it for the rest of the day till now. Keshav was so excited (super bored actually) about his online class that he sat well throughout (of course he didn’t). So did his mom (well, she did). I popped in to check on him a few times, in between work and calls.
Had detailed conversations with the team and a new joinee, whose first day was not the way she (or us) had planned:) A few clients messaged and called just to check in, and we assured them that things were not as bad as projected, and that we were cautious and alert, and working.
The evening saw us taking Keshav to the neighborhood parks to play with other kids – a few conversations between the adults, and many more between the kids.
All in all, a pretty normal day, considering what the weekend had thrown at us.
Update – Emirates and Etihad have resumed flights – obviously not at full capacity, but resumed nevertheless. Supermarkets remain well-stocked, and while a few instances of panic buying were reported, things are pretty much normal overall. The only times when the heart skips a beat is when one hears a Lamborghini or equivalent revving up their engines as they cruise through the street – not a sound we want to hear considering the situation.
And so, like the calm and (thankfully) uneventful day, here comes the end of the calm and uneventful blogpost. Parting note – do keep this in mind…
