We all open for business tomorrow – but, are we ready yet?
The last few days of any year pass by very fast – 2025 was no exception and before you know it, we are four days into the new year already.
A lot of what I thought I would get done, well, just didn’t. But it’s ok. Better to approach the new Monday with a fresh outlook, rather than lament on what could have been.
I have been reading a lot these few days, and those who follow my WhatsApp stories would know that I am currently in between 4-5 books. The three main ones include a productivity viewpoint, a geopolitical commentary and a Hindi व्यंग or satire by the incomparable Ashutosh Rana. Then there is the mandatory Bill Bryson book for good humor, and one on history by Shashi Tharoor. Happy days on this front at least.
A lot to get done in 2026. The year has just started and it seems like the plate is full for the next six months. Challenging, but exciting. I only hope that I bring that ideal self and the real self as close as possible, as fast as possible.
With all that has already happened in the beginning of the year (Venezuela), let’s hope that there isn’t too much disturbance on that front – which seems like wishful thinking at best really. The powers that be are circling, and it is only a matter of time before…
As far as me and you go though, we are too little (even if we may think otherwise) to influence, let alone change the course of such matters. No, the butterfly effect (google it) doesn’t work much here. So sit back, relax and pray that it does not get too crazy.
See you tomorrow!
